robots coming to YOUR house next year

So we have the first in-home robot that’s available to purchase right now (deliveries starting in 2026).

It’s 1x Neo and it looks really good:

For either $500 a month or a flat fee of $20,000 you can have your very own robotic in-home butler catering to your every need.

Is it fully autonomous?

well… this is where it gets tricky.

There will be a lot of tasks where you will need a “1X Expert” to connect to your robot and “teach” them how to do tasks.

These experts will “Tele-Operate” your robot (meaning they can see inside your home).

There are a lot of safeguards such as the fact that the user has to schedule when the expert connects, where in the house the robot can go and anytime the robot is “possessed”, it’s ears light up so you can clearly see it’s being monitored remotely.

All-in-all I’m extremely excited, but I would have to see how useful it actually is inside people’s homes.

If it can reliably do basic tasks like tidying up, putting away laundry and unpacking the dishwasher… I think I’ll be all in.
